Vassilis Nikolopoulos, PhD - Chief Innovation Officer
He is the founder and CEO of INTELEN group and Chief Innovation Officer, responsible for the Innovation development / transition and the creation of new advanced Services for the future markets . He was born in 1975 in Athens and graduated from the French School "Lycee Leonin". He graduated in 2000 as Valedictorian of 3 Engineering departments (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) from the Polytechnic School of Dundee University (Scotland), with a 1st class 4year Scottish honours in Electrical Engineering, having gained 2 class medals, British Association scholarship, Duff & Garland Prize and the IEE prize 2000. He also obtained a 1st class MSc and Diploma (DIC) in Control from Imperial College, certificates in Management and Marketing from LSE and after preparing the French classe preparatoire (Maths Sup-Spe) and succeeding in entrance exams (concours PI) he entered Ecole Polytechnique of Paris (promotion X99), from where he obtained the "Majeures d'Ingenieur de l' Ecole polytechnique" in applied mathematics and informatics, with mention "Honorable". He gained scholarship from the “Fondation de l’Ecole Polytechnique” due to high grades in maths and physics. Currently he is a PhD candidate at Multimedia Technology Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens, working for a PhD in the domain of Optimal Knowledge Engineering. His research objective is to create a new mathematical philosophy, based on differential topology, in order to describe and model enterprise knowledge. As an application result, his web-based Energy Information System (patented EMIR system from OBI) will be able to model, retrieve and analyze Energy stream data over Internet and dynamic profiles, correlating environmental parameters, in order to extract useful knowledge for Energy savings and C02 control.

He has also worked for big multinational companies as an IT Consultant, Chief Innovation Officer, Innovative Business Development Engineer and Project manager in big EU commercial and R&D projects. With his patented algorithm in web energy data mining, he won the 2nd Greek National Innovation Prize from OTENET in 2007 and this gave him the Best New entry Scientist in Greece from the STATUS Magazine - Men of the Year 2007. He believes that changing the environmental habits in one’s country, using modern ICT philosophy, digital services and Social Networking is a matter of changing our approach. He has numerous Conference, Journal and Technical publications. His patented algorithmic method (EnergyRank - It has to do with on-line ADSL analysis and automatic ranking of energy customers, based on remote LBS Location-based Services).) won the 2nd Greek National Innovation Prize from OTENET in 2007 and gave him the Best New entry Scientist in Greece from the STATUS Magazine - Men of the Year 2007. He is also the founder of the spin-off R&D Group INTELEN (http://www.intelen.com) a strong research team that will lead and create advanced IT Services for the Greek and European sector. He is also certified IT Governance Process Consultant from Compuware SA (USA) and leads national initiatives for IT Governance methodologies (CoBIT, ITIL, etc). Recently in 2010, Guidewire Group (USA) and Red herring (USA) short-listed Intelen as one of the top-100 innovative start-ups worldwide

Stelios Mersinas
Mr. Mersinas is the CTO of Intelen Group of the group and responsible for all internal and external IT processes. He was born in Chalkis in 1978. He has extensive experience in Network and System engineering. He is a certified TCP/IP administrator and GNU/Linux administrator. He has a very strong profile in the R&D domain. He works as a Senior Systems Engineer in a big multinational firm

Loukas Ntounis
Mr. Ntounis is the Technical and Infrastracture Director. He is an Electronic Engineer and responsible for all technical infrastracture and H/W Communication processes. He was born in Athens in 1975 and graduated from the Department of Electronics of the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, in 1999. He has extensive experience for over 10 years in complex electromechanical installations, home automation and BMS technologies. He speaks fluently English.

Konstantinos Staikos, MSc
Mr. Staikos is the CDO (Chief Data Officer) of the group and responsible for Warehousing procedures. He was born in 1978 in Athens and graduated as Chemical Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with specialization in Automation process and control. After succeeding in entrance exams (Mathematics, Basic Computer Knowledge and German Language) he attended and obtained a 2-year 1st class MSc honours in Computer Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Munich having gained the Top 3 Student scholarship. He is an Oracle specialist and officially certified as both DBA and Developer, while he has a strong background in J2EE based applications and Warehousing procedures. Currently he is an Oracle consultant in big companies while he has worked for multinational companies in Germany and Greece holding positions of Technical Manager, Business Analyst and Senior Analyst Programmer mainly for EU projects. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and of the Gesellschaft fur Informatik (German Computer Society).
