Vassilis is the founder and CEO of Intelen and responsible for the Innovation
development / transition and the creation of new advanced Services for
the future markets. He graduated in 2000 as Valedictorian of 3 Engineering
departments (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) from the Polytechnic School
of Dundee University (Scotland), with a 1st class 4year Scottish honours
in Electrical Engineering. He also obtained a 1st class MSc and Diploma
(DIC) in Control from Imperial College, certificates in Management and
Marketing from LSE and after preparing the French classe preparatoire
and succeeding in entrance exams he entered the military Ecole Polytechnique
of Paris (X99), from where he obtained the "Majeures d'Ingenieur
Diplome de l' Ecole polytechnique" in applied mathematics and informatics,
with mention "Honorable". He is working for a PhD at the Multimedia
Technology Laboratory of NTUA in the domain of Optimal Knowledge Engineering,
Energy ICT and hypercubic KDD Fusion. He has also worked for big multinational
companies as an IT Consultant, Chief Innovation Officer, Innovative Business
Development Engineer and Project manager in big EU commercial and R&D
projects. With his patented algorithm in web energy data mining, he won
the 2nd Greek National Innovation Prize from OTENET in 2007 and this gave
him the Best New entry Scientist in Greece from the STATUS Magazine -
Men of the Year 2007. He believes that changing the environmental habits
in ones country, using modern ICT philosophy, digital services and
Social Networking is a matter of changing our approach. He has numerous
Conference, Journal and Technical publications, three National Patents
in Energy ICT, one Book and various speeches regarding Innovation , Energy
ICT and IT services management in important events. He is a member of
TEE, IEE, IEEE, BCS, IFAC, SEE and speaks fluently English, French, Spanish

» George Saliaris-Fasseas (Corporate Development Advisor)
George is Managing Partner at driin (www.driin.eu) a private equity firm
which has an interest in Intelen and assists the company in business development.
Until 2010 George was the country manager for Google (www.google.gr) in
Greece where he set up the Athens office. Prior to that he was Managing
Director of OgilvyOne worldwide (www.ogilvyone.gr), Athens: the country's
largest and most rewarded marketing agency. Until 2005 he was the founder
and Managing Partner of yellownetroad (the leading greek interactive marketing
agency which later merged with OgilvyOne) focusing on serving clients
in using technology to build relationships between themselves and their
customers. Before that he was involved in the international fresh produce
business serving supermarkets, working as a Marketing and Procurement
Manager for Richard & Hochfeld (UK). George holds a BSc in Management
Sciences from Warwick University and an MSc (with distinction) in Analysis,
Design and Management of Information Systems from the London School of
Economics and is fluent in Greek, English, French and speaks Italian.
» Evangelos Angelopoulos (Business and Projects Development Director)
Evangelos manages the Project portfolio of the Company (Private and Public
Sector). He holds a bachelor and a master in Telecommunications from the
School of Electrical and Computer Engineering School from Aristotle University
of Thessaloniki and a PhD in Telecommunications from the National Technical
University of Athens. During his diploma thesis he developed a Scanning
Tunneling Microscope used to probe structures in the subatomic level,
while his PhD was dedicated to the design and development of planar multiband
and ultrawideband antennas for wireless applications. He has published
more than 15 articles in international peer reviewed journals and conferences
and has received more than 100 third party citations. Dr. Angelopoulos
has lobbied, prepared and coordinated a wealth of diverge FP6 and FP7
research collaborations spanning from nanotechnology to ICT technologies
and from wireless systems to satellite technologies. He has a highly successful
record in regional and interegional projects and has been appointed technical
advisor in the Ministry of Communications where he supported the General
Secretary of Communications to successfully deliver various tenders stemming
from the 3rd structural funds. Dr. Angelopoulos has been technology consultant
in various Greek start-ups, while he has been lately appointed in Infosociety
SA as an external specialist over the maturation and preparation of eGovermental
Project Fiches and Tenders for the Public Sector on the Sectoral Operational
Programme of Digital Convergence.
» Loukas Ntounis (Technical Director and EM Infrastructures)
Loukas is the Technical Director of Intelen. He is an higly skilled Electronic
Engineer and responsible for all technical infrastructures and Electromechanical
processes in Smart metering, Electrical Desings and Automation. He was
born in Athens in 1975 and graduated from the Department of Electronics
of the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, in 1999. He has extensive
experience for over 15 years in complex electromechanical installations,
home / building automation, sensoring and BMS technologies. He served
as a Managing Director in a Technical company and Project coordinator
in Multinational organisations. He speaks fluently English.
» Stelios Mersinas (CTO - Chief Technology Officer)
Stelios is the CTO of Intelen and responsible for all internal and external
IT and Software processes. He was born in Chalkis in 1978. He has extensive
experience in Network and System engineering and in OSS analysis and Design.
He is a certified TCP/IP administrator, GNU/Linux administrator and CCNA
with experience in Unix / Linus scripting and ICT Technical Project management.
He has a very strong profile in the R&D domain with applications to
embedded programming, scripting and OSS development. He speaks fluently
English
