INTELEN
R&D Group was founded in 2006 by
a group of promising and ambitious high-educated
Greek Engineers and PhDs, as a spin-off of the
Multimedia Technology Lab of NTUA.
Its mission and scope is to research, design
and deliver reliable and innovative web-based
IT
services
and products for the Greek and International
ICT community.
BASED on continuous Research
& Development (R&D), by using modern
ICT Web 2.0/3.0 technologies and the use of
effective ICT development and
ITSM management methods, INTELEN group
creates and supports advanced focused e-services
for the Energy and IT
Services Sector, by usingmodern web-based
intelligent knowledge management platforms.
The group has already developed two patented
methods for web-based energy knowledge management
(EMIR system plus Location-Based
Services and Energy Social Nets over Peer2Peer
AMR), which are both protected under the Greek
Patent Law.
Intelen
gained a second Patent and National Innovation
Prize: Intelen's EMIR system received
full patent number from OBI. This is the 2nd
patent from Intelen group creating the
first on-line EnergyTube transactional system
for real-time energy services gambling over
ADSL connections. The
patended idea and methodology won the 2nd
place in the first Greek National Innovation
contest of OTENET SA in
2007 and was in the TOP-5 of the ALBA
Green Entrerpreneurship Contest in 2008.
This patented algorithmic method (EnergyRank)
has to do with adaptive Search Machine
Technology
and on-line ADSL analysis with automatic ranking
of energy customers, based on remote LBS Location-based
Services and their relevant consumption with
respect to local Climate Conditions and the
SMP (System Marginal Price) of every time-slot.
Further research methodologies are being followed
in order to assess the social and geo-spatial
impact of those profiling results in the Greek
sector and provide Adaptive DSS Automata
solutions and Energy Services towards a unified
Greek Energy Policy scheme (Greek EEAP) .
Intelen OBJECTIVE: Create
Investment Order from Chaotic Digital Raw Data:
Create high level decision making and services
transition by understanding the hidden value
and identify the lost trends on energy and utility
measured data. A classical multi-Optimization
Problem which is solved in real-time over Web
Technologies and Algorithms.The

National Greek Pilot of Adaptive Demand-side
Management, Smart Grid Services and Intelligent
Energy Profiling of National Social Clusters
(Buildings, Private Sector, Hotels, Banks, Public
Sector, Schools, etc according to EEAP and
2006/32/EC & 2002/91/EC). More here
